Perched on a hill, most of these attractive wooden chalets have decks with awesome views. The hospitable hosts provide free internet access and breakfast, as well as use of pool, spa and bbq areas.

We stayed here on our first visit to NZ three years ago and made sure we stayed again this time.
Rachel and Alby are a lovely couple who do a brilliant job running Grafton Cottage. The quality of furnishings and fittings is first class. The small pool and large hot tub are also very welcome after a long journey.
The location of the property is at the back of Thames up a steep hill but you are rewarded with spectacular views across Thames to the sea and estuary.
It's a definite recommendation from us.
